More Feast Fun

This is the fun part of history. Getting dressed up and doing a play. We had our feast at the Tucker's house. It was just our two families and the kids had a blast. We got to look at the art work the kids had done over the past unit. It was great to see how far they had come. The play was called "What will be come of this boy". Andy was Leonardo Da Vinci, Caleb Tucker was Uncle Francesco, Sharron Tucker was the narrator, Mrs Tucker, Ellyn and myself were the town people. The kids did great.
Here the kids are doing their play they had worked so hard on.
The great Leonardo!!

Boys will be boys even in the Renaissance.

Sharron and Ellyn all dressed up. I really think they
would rather be playing swords with the boys.

School Fun

Here are the kids working during our co-op time. They are working so hard on their art lesson. This is what we wish every school day was like. The kids do great together. It is fun having another family to learn with. The best part of school is the play time afterwards. Now that it is getting warmer we will start having lunch at the park so the kids can run and be crazy outside instead of being crazy during school.

Now they are getting ready for our end of unit feast. We just finished up the unit on the Renaissance. The kids loved learning about all the cool artists. Andy really loved learning about Leonardo Da Vinci. He still has pictures of him and some of his art and drawings in his room. The kids did a play and Andy got to be Leonardo Da Vinci. He just loved it.

Chalk Fun

The kids just love to draw with chalk on the drive way. As soon as it started to warm up the kids were out, working on art and handwriting.
