LaShon's shower

The count down has begun! Less than one week before she is due! We had LaShon's shower and it was so much fun. We had it as an open house, that way the Mom to be could visit with everyone. She got so many fun gifts they filled up her car.

Oh, how far we have come from our days at Arby's. We became friends and met our loves there, love and friendship over curly fires.

Ralph loved the Raiders. Ellyn is helping LaShon open our gift.

Look at that belly! I think he is ready to come out and I think everyone is ready to meet him. LaShon is hoping to deliver on November 2nd, that is her and Ralph's anniversary. How sweet would it be to be born on that day. What a special way to remember him.

Pumpkin Land

Each year I take the kids to Pumpkin Land. It is at the Vineyard Nursery. We do the corn maze, get lost and then take the short cut out. See the animals, play on the bouncy toys and then pick out pumpkins. The rule is is they can get any pumpkin as long as they can carry it. This year I invited my good friend Ashley and her kids to come with us. I knew Josh would love it (he is 3) and I think he did. The battery on my camera died so I don't have a picture of the pumpkins. But I will post pictures of the carved ones.

Andy, Ellyn and Josh. Don't you think Josh could pass for a Snyder?

Trying to keep up with the kids in the maze.

Cute pumpkin heads.

Ashley helping Ellyn get up the blow up slide. At least one of us cares. I guess you could say I was the cheerleader mom.

Andy's Birthday!!

This past week was Andy's birthday, he turned 10! What a big kid he is growing up to be. And a good one also. I asked him what he wanted to do for his birthday and he wanted to have his friend Tanner sleepover and go to the skate park.

The celebration began last Sunday with birthday dinner at Grandma's. Because it was Andy's birthday he got to pick what he wanted to have for dinner. Spaghetti it was.

It wouldn't be his birthday without him getting sick. He has allergies ( a gift from mom and grannie) and with the change of seasons it was really bothering him and it settled into a cold. It wasn't fun. On Wednesday, his birthday, he was very sick. But still a good sport.

He was able to have his come friend over and Ellyn had a friend come for a playover. The boys went to the skate park with Andy's bike that Steve fixed for his birthday and the girls went to the park and then got ice cream.

Computer

We have been having some computer issues lately. First it began with a crazy virus that would not go away (i guess that is what is supposed to do), but with the help of a good friend and a brother in law I was able to fix our "Big Computer" as the kids call it. I told Steve that I thought I deserved a raise because "computer repair girl" is not in my job description. He then informed me that it had been added, I just didn't get that memo.

I was ready to blog, so I log in, bring up our fun blog and it was all crazy!! Ugghh!! I couldn't find any of the buttons that I needed, when I was able to get to create post, there was nothing there. So, needless to say, this is one of the many reasons that all has been quiet on the blogging. But once again the computer geek in me came out. My dad taught me just to go in and fix it, you most likely can't break it, can you? So, I did, and it worked. So, hopefully I can begin to blog again. I have missed it. If all goes according to plan (and does it ever? nope! but I can hope) there will be many a new posting to show all the fun we have been having.
