Mother/Daughter Time

This past Saturday we had a mother/daughter outing at Thanksgiving Point's Tulip Festival. It was so beautiful. The daughters enjoyed running around the gardens and the mothers enjoyed the adult conversation. The day started out a little windy and cold. Ellyn saw the windmills and they were just a spinning and I almost turned around. But thought maybe it will clear up. And it did. For a few minutes. It was almost warm, and then it was freezing. Poor Ellyn was just crying she was cold and hungry. So some of our group headed for Del Taco. Warm restaurant, warm food, indoor play area and great friends. No better way to spend an afternoon.Ellyn and her little friends running and smelling the flowers.
The Secret Garden
The girls sat for a pictures, they were so cute that other people were taking pictures of them.

They look cute even if they are freezing. Utah weather is so unpredictable. TN is having a week of rain and migraines.

Glad you had a good time. The flowers look beautiful. Our last frost got all of my tulips. They were in full bloom. Ah well. There is always next year.
Love,
Mom
